[MR2] O deer me

Driving up the freeway this morning at 0400m 60 mph (I-92 up the hill towards I-280 in San Mateo), just passed a semi crawling up the hill, a deer jumped the median barrier and showed up in my headlights out of thin air. Yanked the steering wheel to the right, back to the left, past the deer, truck headlights 100 feet behind me, pulse up in the zillions ... car never even skipped a beat, tracked steady and true. Good old MR2, I love ya.

I've dodged my share of deer, but either in broad daylight or on local roads at 20-30 mph, never like this.
