Finally got my 87 to a mechanic. My sister, original owner, gave it to
me.
It sat a few years since the water pump went...and so on...
He got it cranked and says the engine runs great, but admits he would
like to talk to a someone who has worked on this model as he fixes it up
for me.
I have decided it is cheaper to fix than buy a new vehicle. I also
appreciates he admits he doesn't know it all. (He is retired after many
years as a mechanic and works on all kinds of farm eqiupment too - this
is a "project" and some $ for him.) Is there anyone on the list that
would like to do this? I would certainly appreciate it! Unfortunately he
is not online so this would be via phone.
Also, since i will be needing parts it would be great if as we went
along we could have help in that area too!
