[MR2] MR2] I was interested to know, does anyone on the forum own a MK2 MR2, and it's more expensive alter ego, the Lotus Esprit

Right here.  I had an 83 Turbo Esprit and it was an awful car, 
ESPECIALLY when you compared it to the MR2.  Larger, more
  cumbersome, major turbo lag, horrid gas mileage...the list goes on and 
on.   My 93T was superior in every way save 'stare
factor'.

Now, A later S4 Esprit with proper fuel injection would probably be a 
different beast...but the carb'd versions were no
comparison.
