Hi Moi,
      They typically become jumpy just before they fail. There are 3 "usual suspects": The speedometer cable, the driven gear
that sits on top of the tranny, and the band inside the transmission that turns it.

How common is a jumpy speedo on mk2 mr2s?  Mine is pretty accurate at anything above 20 mph, but below that it jumps.  I'm
just wondering how bad I can expect it to get.
