[MR2] Cold weather, cooling fan light, and coolant loss

If you want to force the air out of the cooling system faster...
Back it up your driveway, jack up the back end as high as you can and use
gravity to help you bleed it.

Felix, I am just guessing like everyone else (but then, you get what you pay
for!) but I think the coolant loss (1 quart at one time) is unrelated to the
fan light. I have changed the coolant and sometimes over a few weeks it will
finally burp out. 

Someone suggested a long time ago to run the car over speed bumps rapidly
(making sure suspension doesn't fall off the car) - to "burp it".
