[MR2] 88 mk1 el problems

Trying to remember the chain of events when my blower failed several years ago.  IIRC I first plled the switch assy on the console and put in a replacement (used) assy - still no air. :o(   then I pulled the blower motor & applied direct current via jumpues from battery - dead. Bought a used motor from a yard, put it in, all good.

Hi guys.  Found and checked the blower fuse today - not blown, but still nothing from any of the switch positions.  At only 120K I doubt the motor itself is bad and I haven't used it much.  How often do the relay, switch fail?  Still blowing the running light fuse.  Could there be some sort of connection, like a bad ground somewhere or just coincidence?  Thanks for any tips before I start tearing my (formerly dead reliable) baby apart.  Cheers, Ron.
