[MR2] MK2 Temperature Sensor

Guys,
If it's the temp sensor that connects to the dash gauge that is bad,
then running lean until warmed up means the sensor would be reading warmer
than true when cold. Shouldn't you see some evidence of this on the gauge?
Might be worth checking the IAT.
