Steven,

While we're on the subject, who'd you use for the machine work; and
were you happy with them?

And does anybody else out there have any machinist recommendations?
(I'm in the Seattle area.)

Is Kris Osheim set up for that kind of machine work at his shop?

The one engine rebuild I did a while back turned out to be a
nightmare. The shop I used who USED to have a good reputation charged
me for a crankshaft grind, but then sold me standard sized bearings.
So, a little checking with a micrometer and, no crankshaft grind. It
went on and on like that and took a total of three months just to get
everything back with the right machine work and parts.
