[MR2] MK2:Side Rear View Mirror Repair

The screws on the bottom of the mirror loosen up.

 

A touch of Loctite couldn't hurt.

While we're asking about this...my driver's side mirror jiggles. A LOT. I
can't seem to see how to tighten it up so it doesn't move around so much.
The glass moves a bit too (everything is manual), but its the frame itself
that jiggles. Suggestions?

My Mirror needs some work. In order to work on this assembly I must first
remove the glass. Where can I find the directions to remove the glass? I do
not see that information in the Repair Manual.  (BGB). The problem I have
with the mechanism is that the adjustment mechanism seems to not adjust far
enough to the left side. It seems to slip when it gets to the extreme limit.
I have another mechanism but need the information to remove the glass.
