[MR2] MK2:Side Rear View Mirror Repair

There must be a way to replace a broken mirror. I know the MK1 mirror will pop out from the electrical ajustment mechanism. The MK2 mirror doesn't seem to cooperate with my removal attempt.

While we're asking about this...my driver's side mirror jiggles. A LOT. I can't seem to see how to tighten it up so it doesn't move around so much. The glass moves a bit too (everything is manual), but its the frame itself that jiggles. Suggestions?

My Mirror needs some work. In order to work on this assembly I must first
remove the glass. Where can I find the directions to remove the glass? I do
not see that information in the Repair Manual.  (BGB). The problem I have
with the mechanism is that the adjustment mechanism seems to not adjust far
enough to the left side. It seems to slip when it gets to the extreme limit.
I have another mechanism but need the information to remove the glass.
