[MR2] MK2:Side Rear View Mirror Repair

My Mirror needs some work. In order to work on this assembly I must first remove the glass. Where can I find the directions to remove the glass? I do not see that information in the Repair Manual.  (BGB). The problem I have with the mechanism is that the adjustment mechanism seems to not adjust far enough to the left side. It seems to slip when it gets to the extreme limit. I have another mechanism but need the information to remove the glass.
