[MR2] heavier frt sway bar effects

Ron,

you have it backwards. :)

larger front = understeer
larger rear = oversteer

with all the years of my abusive MKI driving with the ST sway bar set 
(with upgraded end links), i have never seen or experienced any sort of 
metal fatigue due to stiffer sway bars.  my wife's 85 did have 1 point 
of fatigue - front passenger sway bar mounting point.  a friend welded 
on some nice new plate steel with a nut welded on the opposite side, and 
everything has been perfect! :)
