Bill

I would only flood the switch as a last resort... It is probably won't work, the crud and corrosion is likely too extensive and you will wash any remaining lube out of the switch so long term, you will have a problem

I might have taken one of these apart years ago but it is too long ago to remember.

I know that the 86.5 to 91 Supra had a simular switch that came apart rather easily. One of the switches broke and I was able to cobble two different switches back together and I was able to turn back on the Auto Up feature that some US lawyer must have forced them to turn off.

Do a search on the web, this came up first on Google but I bet there is a better description somewhere...

Hi Jerry - do you mean that you were able to flood the switch with cleaner to get it to work? I too have the feeling that you can't really take these apart and yet am sure just cleaning the contacts would allow the thing to work.
