Good info, and a good reminder. My passenger side window (and driver
side, to a lesser extent) has been awfully loud lately too. Looks like
another Saturday morning project to add to the list.

Well, I might as well tell you guys of a solution today. Since I have
had this power window that makes some of the worst noises when cold (and
for a couple of years!) I decided to pull the door panel today. Man does
Toyota make that job easy.
Anyway I could tell once the door panel was off that it was the 2 tracks
of the regulator that were as dry as a bone - I had a little can of
white lithium grease - put some in the grooves on the bottom - let the
window go up and down a couple of times - and it is as quiet as can be
now...
