Everybody has their own preference Arvid.  Chivas Regal may work well, but I 
use a solution of 409 about half and half.  I like to put it in a pan and 
warm it up to about 150 degrees of so and put in with a funnel.  I'm not 
adverse to use a small air hose with a nozzle to put down to the bottom 
after a while and let the energy of the air stream dislodge the crud, under 
the cleaning solution.  Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble ....
