[MR2] Compression ratio

Alright, I will have to get a copy of this book, but if I understand this
shimmy shimmy process, it involves checking the valve clearance with a
feeler gauge, and then, if they are off, you somehow, remove the current
shim for that specific valve, test it with a micrometer, and then replace it
with a shim that is the appropriate size?
Is that about right?
