[MR2] Washington State Exhaust Law

[Racing Strong Motorsports]

That is very similar to the Virginia law. Basically here we are not
allowed to have any non-stock exhaust system. Even adding a larger tip
to a stock system can get you an exhaust tick by the State Police.
I just usually pay the fine. There are no points.
