[MR2] Vague thoughts on an electric MkI

    Why?  Somewhere around 70% of this country's electricity is generated 
from dinosaurs at the moment, so your car will still be largely 
fossil-fueled ( and nuclear makes up most of the rest ). Electricity rates 
are going nowhere but up, too, in many cases, faster than the cost of 
gas.  A bio-diesel conversion might make economic sense, but electric 
doesn't.

    On the other hand, if that's irrelevant, and you just want a cool 
project, ignore this post ;)  It would be cool to say that 'my car is 
one-third nuclear-powered', though.
