[MR2] "Every MR2 needs ball joints over 80k?"

Dave my 86 has 275,000 miles and believe me I am aware of ball joints. Wheels are still tight; tire wear even. Like the rubber hoses, strangely still firm at 24 years I think it is an oddity of the car - the hoses because apparently the cooling system runs at a lower pressure (with so much coolant for the displacement) and the ball joints because the car is so light. 

This is just my experience.

Uneven rear tire wear on the MR2 is usually two things... Ball joints  
(excessive inside wear) and/or alignment (fast wear).  Every MR2 needs  
ball joints over 80k miles.
