Hi Bryan - what I love about the "LeMons" series - is that it is supposed to be "just fun" - but - racing is racing and the competitive spirit always comes out - just like the Monterey Historics - they have very stringent rules about accidents - cause one and you are either banned from racing for life or X years (first time - 2nd time Life for sure) ) forget the exact rules; but Stirling Moss caused an accident in the 1956 Aston Martin that won LeMans that year and even he is prohibited form racing there for a time - I was there when it happened - a lot of these cars are last of their kind...

At least with this series you won't go broke...

Point is the competitive spirit always seems to come out ;-)

We ran a MKI with a 5sfe last year and turned decent lap times while it was running. We are trying to figure out what our brake issue was/is. Get it ready for the next race here in Houston.

I have read about these - it started here in the Bay Area I think as a 1 weekend deal and proved so popular that it is a series all over the country now.

Bringing wacky costumes is a plus too if I am not mistaken.

It is the one race where making a small fortune by starting with a large fortune isn't necessary!

But don't cars have to cost no more than $1000? Are 91s getting that cheap now?

If I were more on the eastern side I would go...
