[MR2] Problems with rear wheel bushes

Hello again all...
I have a problem with with a large (i think 24mm) nut on my rear hub.
It is the one facing backwards and attached to the front most bush.
(The long bar which points directly forwards)

My problem Is that I cant tighten or un-tighten it! For Some reason I
decided it wood be a good idea to slacken it of while removing my
drive shaft, but alas now I need to tighten it up again but cant turn
it at all!

Can someone help pls...I really need to finish this project before my
family leave me :-(

While groveling for help...I undid the top (14mm) bolt on anti roll
bar linkage(the top one of the two under rear wheel arch)
 Couldn't get linkage apart so tried to tighten up again, but the bolt
just keeps  turning. Whats happening here pls. How can I sort This
pls?
