[MR2] Car theft in Phoenix AZ

Interesting question.  I lived in Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe/Ahwatukee for
about three years and had no problem with my cars, but two out of the three
homes I lived in were broken into!  But, that was quite a while ago.  I've
no idea what its like now.

If the car's got nice paint, keep it covered - paint fades and/or peels VERY
quickly there.

Temperature-wise, June can approach 120, at about 7% humidity.

July and August drops down to about an even 100, but the humidity goes up to
about 30%.  That's their so-called "monsoon season," with the daily 4:00 pm
dust storm.

In December, it's about 70, which actually feels a little chilly because its
so dry.  So, I'd guess October and March might run about 90.

Enjoy.  Personally, I've no interest in going back there!
