A big impact gun is the only thing that comes to mind.

A lot of people use the starter motor, but that requires the engine to be installed in the car.

Subject: [MR2] Help...pls timing problems:-(

I am currently trying to time up a mk2 na, engine of which is out of the car!
My problem is that I cant undo the big bolt on the end of the crank! I need this of to remove the bottom timing cover but cant
do it as the engine just turns. The belt is broken too and this probably does not help!

I am loosing my mind over ways to get this undone:-( Any ideas ppl?
