[MR2] Mk I: worth the effort?

I met a guy tonight who swapped in a 20v locally and he said someone on the
MR2 board will re-wire your harness to work with the factory black-top ecu.
I've now seen 2 20v MR2s in the last 3 days (well, one on craigslist) in the
area.  Previously I'd only seen one and that was about 8 years ago.
