Another reason I decided to trust him was that when he saw the mileage
(413,000), he showed me a couple of other cars repair history he has
worked on, some since the owner bought them.  I think the highest was
320,000.  Not only has he been working at the same place on the same
cars for a long time, but he was proud of the high mileage cars.

I have only been there this once, but if anybody else needs a mechanic
in the area, he is probably worth a further look.  He's in a 76
station at 19th at Delaware, San Mateo, CA.  I can't really vouch for
him any more than this one incident, but he sounds promsising.
