Since it's fuel injected I'm assuming it would have some diagnostic codes.
Unless this engine is an exception.  Heck, even my '83 EFI Camry has codes.

I've never owned a vehicle with a 22RE.  Does it have a "check engine light"?
If so, the owner's manual should show you how to extract any codes.

If it were my PU, I'd do what a lot of folks have already said.  Monitor
it closely and go from there.
