[MR2] Radio fuse blew, any suggestions

Hey, i had my cell phone plugged into the cig lighter and i dialed and heard a POP..and the radio died...the antenna still worked when i shut the car off, but the radio was DEAD.  It took me a few minutes to think to check the fuse and it was blown, thankfully...so i was wondering fi anyone had any suggestions as to why it would blow like that...
