[MR2] <MKIINA> STIFF throttle

The cable is most likely pinched are frayed somewhere along the way.  I have
had one instance where the mounting of the pedal on the forward wall was
broken and pushing through into the frunk which probably happened as a
result of a problem similar to the one you are having.

Electrical short running through the throttle cable, heating it up until it
expands to the point of getting stuck.

Just kidding. :)

I found that my stiff pedal was caused by the cable being pinched underneath
the car. At some point I must have bottomed out and bent the cable bracket
which pinched the cable and made it difficult to move.
