[MR2] MKIIT - Random PS failure

The power steering failed on my 94T a while back while I was rapidly turning the wheel  backing out of the garage.  I didn't get a chance to tshooting it and drove it 4-5 times, and then today it started working again out of the blue.  It was not working when I took off from a cold start this morning, but after sitting for a couple of hours I came back to go home and it was working.  Weird!  Fluid level is good, the PS light was on when it was not working, but went out now.  The only thing different is that the weather was quite warm today 90F where I drove to, whereas it's usually 50-60F at home.  This ever happen to anyone?

It's kind of fun to drive w/o the PS, feels like a real go-cart!  Parallel parking was not fun though.
