I haven't done them.  Not sure if they'd even help in my case due to where the gaps are.  Also, it sounds like a lot of work for what just delays the inevitable need for new seals/finding a new way to really close up the old seals.

I'd be perfectly happy just gluing the t-tops on (and making them non-removeable).  There's about 1-2 days a year that seem nice enough to take them off, and about half the time it suddenly starts raining on me.  That results in the mad dash to put them back on, and makes me generally quite cranky :-)

Any comments from those that have gone the eccentric (t-top guide) route?  :-)

While I'm thinking about it, anyone got good ways to try and keep water from not getting down in the door, resulting in frozen door locks in the morning all the time during the fall (when it JUST warm enough to rain during the day, then everything freezes at night).  Large quantities of alcohol pumped into the door lock will free it up eventually (assuming I remember to have some with me!).  Oh, of some note for others while I'm thinking about it...  I found that silicone spray lube on the bottom door seal helps keep my door from being so frozen that I can't open it (still usually have to pull pretty hard, but at least it WILL open).  Without that, I used to have to take the hair dryer to the door frequently during this season...  However, still no real solution whatsoever to the door lock issue.
