put a nice coat of the silicone grease on the two edges of the T-top close 
to the pins and the corresponding rubber on the car side.  I find that the

silicone lube also does a good job of keeping the rubber from getting dried 
out. Treat the rubber/gaskets with that and then apply the silicone grease 
over it.  Toyota does make a set of eccentric pin guides that will pull the 
T-tops down against the gaskets snugger. I've got the part number around 
somewhere, but I'm sure someone has it right at their fingertips.
