Thank you everyone, for your input on this matter. It seems that the
dealer I have ordered through is at fault ONLY in giving us the 4-6 week
wait period. I get angrier being lied to than being given bad news
truth. Yes, we wanted a specific color and certain option
packages....ALL which are listed in the Yaris brochure. Several
available cars had SOME of the options that were inclusive in a package
deal, but when added up separately, nearly equalled the cost of the
package option. ("Scuse me for reading the fine print and comparing
prices) :-) Aaron, Steve, you are right....I'm a picky customer. I
figure if the manufacturer offers & advertises an item, they should be
able to supply it. I hope Toyota, now being #1 globally doesn't fall
into what GM did years back when they held that position and feel that
the public will take whatever we decide to feed them. History has a
habit of repeating itself! Aaron, I'll send you my list of specs, etc.,
on a separate post.
