Brian: I know that shipping that will be a pain, regarding size. You
wouldn't happen to be in Texas, would you? If not, it's not a deal-breaker.
How much would you need for the pieces you mentioned?
Bob: That's a good idea about removing the musty odor. The car has dried
out and it sits in the garage now mostly. When the humidity gets up or the
windows stay up for a while, it gets smelly again. I hate that. :) I'll
replace the padding first, however, and while the carpet is out, I'll clean
it properly and let it dry out thoroughly. That would have to be the cheaper
route.
Steve: I'm actually relieved to know that I can get the stuff through
Toyota. I had the thought of not being able to source it through the list or
message board and just having to deal with the car as is. Don't get me
wrong, the exterior is great, although it's obvious that the car used to be
red what with the few chips in the black paint. My NA was (and still is)
maintained very well, so that is what I am used to. I'll get the turbo up to
that point, too, it'll just take some time and resources. :)
