[MR2] Seat Bottom Foam

Figures...
I have never understood why most parts don't interchange from side to side.
No one would notice if the door handles or side markers on the car were
designed to be the same.
Heck, in theory many of the parts could interchange.

Unfortunately, driver and passenger side are not the same. On many/most
cars, the outer bolster is thicker than the inner one.

Next time I will put Naked Women Photos in the subject line. That
should
get your attention.
At $160 and since I really could use new covers it really isn't in my
price
range
Do you know if the passenger bottom foam is the same? There might be a
good
used passenger seat bottom out there.
Thanks
Bob

Bob, I guess I wasn't paying attention. I have to admit I don't read
every message if the subject lines don't reach out and grab me. The
lower foam is still a valid part number (71506-17070), out of stock in
the US but possibly available from Japan. If I can get it, it would
cost you $156.38. The seatback foam was sold with the frame, and it's
no longer a valid part number, which means it's no longer available.

Aaron
Did you see the post about the seat bottoms?
The foam in my wife 91 NA is quickly fading away and I was wondering if
the
foam is still available and more importantly is it affordable.
Mine is the base seat but I would assume the deluxe seat would use the
same
foam.
