[MR2] mk 1 tires

I have been told by several sources that the tread wear number is not an
exact rating system. It is more like a gentleman's agreement (if there are
any left in business) as to the scale and how long they will last.
It isn't like one company's tire rated at 400 will wear as long as another
company's tires rated at 400.
As this list always says.... YMMV.

Last set of BFGs I had were R1s. They had a treadwear rating of 0, and
lasted about 2 autocrosses. :-) My A032Rs had a tread wear rating of 60
and lasted about 15k miles. I believe my RA1s had a treadwear rating of 40
and lasted about 12k miles...
Luckily, they were all much smaller and far more common (and therefore
considerably cheaper) than Veyron tires :-)
