[MR2] Power steering & Power brakes - connection or coincidence?

This may be similar to the intermittent open-circuit to the ignition switch I 
described in an earlier post. On my car, when the ignition power fails, the 
power brakes also fail and red warning lights appear all over the dashboard; 
its exactly like the inital starting-up with the key. 
Possibly you should look at the power wire from the ignition switch to the 
brake ECU. Hopefully you have the BGB as the wiring is complex in this little 
car and under-dash access is difficult. If you get lucky, it;ll be a loose 
connection on the ignition or a loose pin in a multi-connector- a job all mechanics
