[MR2] Engine drop difficulty

Phillip --

The presumed reason for the changes in your mail is that the IMOC website
and mail lists were moved to another server last weekend and there were some
changes made on the fly. There were several messages sent by the
administrators explaining what was happening. That's a problem with
digests -- it's easy to miss these things at a quick scan.

It is always disappointing to me when people who subscribe to mail lists in
this day and age exhibit such lack of understanding of how to manage them.
It's like getting into your MR2 and tooling on down the road without knowing
where the brake is.

This is especially true when the keys to the mail account management process
are presented at the bottom of every message, as they were about four times
at the end of the message you sent (due to trailing messages in the thread).
I left one of them for your use. At the bottom of the page, you can log
into a page that allows you to edit your preferences. You can unsubscribe,
or you can reset the digest mode there.

Note that, if you have never accessed this page, or maybe the password file
didn't make it through the transition because I had to reset mine, you can
click a button on the subject page and have a default password sent to you.
Log in using it, and either unsubscribe or change the password to one that
is convenient for you, along with selecting digest mode.

Sorry to drop in on this conversation abruptly, but something has changed in
the last 2 days and I am getting a flood of these messages. I was subscribed
to just the digest version, but now I get every one of these messages
individually.

Does anyone have instructions for unregistering from the list?

  Thank you.
