But a few comments: * if there's an e-mail address, add the html code so that the person can click on e-mail address, and it pops up the mail form. * add the color code next to the color (somehow, just a suggestion). * include buy/sell dates. Just because that person owned the car on that date doesn't mean that the person still has the car. You might even end up with the same car with multiple buyers * perhaps a link between the Mk I SC registry and the Mk II registry? That depends on your rims' offset. 38mm offset (original is 39mm) will definitly work on both 195 and 205 in a 50 profile (I have 7x15, 38mm, 205/50 myself). The shaft was never broken and never needed replacment, it just started this grinding thing. I disassembled and reassembled it a couple of times.. no change. Then I added a thin shim (cut from the side of a beer can) and glued it in place with contact cement over the pinch pin. The pinch pin makes sure the geared shaft makes good contact with the large nylon drive gears. Amazingly this worked! But only for a while, and the grinding came back. After the post mortem disection I found hairline cracks in the upper large gear radiating from the center, I assume it is dead :( Maybe there could be something wrong with the spring inside the gear assembly? Maybe it's not holding the motor/cutoff relay the right amount of time? I can't imagine whats what though. I refused to pay the $200 that Toyota wants for a new one. I have not found an aftermarket power unit that fits. I have not found anyone to "repair" mine. I have replaced it with a rigid antemnna I bought at Radio Shack for $9, it looks OK. The '94 did feel stronger to me and seemed to have less lag, too, and this is in spite of my '91T running near the top of the stock boost band (it runs about 11.5 psi), and having smaller diameter wheels/tires for effectively lower gearing (225/50-14 vs. 225/50-15). I don't know what boost level the '94T was running since it only had the stock gauge, but the engine was totally stock. The only engine change I know of was a bigger throttle body in '93, but the hp and torque ratings were still the same. The '94T seemed to ping a little under full throttle even on premium gas and octane boost, so maybe the '94+ cars had more agressive ECU programming. (BTW, I checked the timing which was good, and the dealer said the car was fine.)
